Marina Rytz — artist, designer, and architect (Master of Arts in Architecture, CH) who brings art, design, and space together into a harmonious visual whole. The works exist at the intersection of structure and emotion, geometric clarity and cosmic depth, transforming spaces and inspiring everyone who encounters them.
With a classical artistic foundation and a multidisciplinary background, a wide range of materials, techniques, and styles are explored confidently. Canvas and paper are just the beginning — textiles, walls, ceramics, and furniture become mediums of expression.
Craftsmanship, philosophical depth, and contemporary aesthetics come together to create pieces that are both visually captivating and meaningful.
"My art is a dialogue between consciousness, emotions, and feeling. Through my work, I aim to support viewers in challenging moments of life — to bring them a smile, to warm them with the radiance of color, or to awaken forgotten dreams lost in the noise of everyday life — because with them, the joy of living can also fade."
I was born in the former Soviet Union — a country that no longer exists, but once united a rich tapestry of cultures, languages, and traditions. I carry the heritage of five different nationalities in my veins, and my family has lived across various corners of the world. This diversity has become an integral part of who I am, shaping my worldview and values. I consider myself a citizen of planet Earth—a place that connects us all, regardless of nationality, religion, or skin color.
.
Before moving to Switzerland in 2004, I lived in Ukraine, Moldova, and Russia. These journeys—both geographical and personal—deepened my understanding of the world, taught me to see the many layers of life, and inspired a profound respect for the uniqueness of every culture.
.
I began drawing in early childhood and graduated from a classical art school with honors. I continued to refine my skills and deepen my knowledge at a university in Saint Petersburg.
.
After relocating to Switzerland in 2004, I earned a Master of Arts in Architecture from FHNW. Yet creativity, like breathing, has never left me. It has always been my way of feeling, exploring, and expressing.
.
My classical training and artistic experience allow me to work confidently across a variety of techniques, styles, and materials. I don’t limit myself to canvas or paper—ceramics, textiles, furniture, and virtually any surface that can capture inspiration become my medium.
.
.
I invite you into my universe—a space where imagination knows no boundaries, and where together we can explore the depths of inspiration.
.
.
With best wishes
Marina Rytz
